Community Groups

Our church is made up of Community Groups that meet in homes throughout the Everett area.  Our groups meet with the purpose of growing relationships with God and each other.  Each group consists of 2-5 families and is led by a Community Pastor.

Serving Others

EFC is striving to be Jesus with skin where we spend our days and beyond.  As individuals, families, groups, and as a whole church we trust the Holy Spirit to guide us and use us to bring hope, healing, and help to Everett and Snohomish County.  We regularly serve our neighbors, homeless teens, Everett families in need, and children in our community.

Family Fall Festival

We have the opportunity to provide a free, child-oriented festival for the families living at the Family Tree Apartments.  These are affordable-housing units run through Mercy Housing.  EFC families volunteer to sponsor a booth, create the game, decorate the booth, and run the game during this evening of fun.  It allows us to bless families in need in our community.

Youth

In addition to our Family Gatherings the youth Pastor Max meets on Tuesdays for PRAXIS – an evening of learning God’s word, worship, games, friends, and snacks.  They meet every week from 6:30-8pm at Hope Church at Silver Lake.  Watch the calendar for some fun seasonal events.

Men’s Ministry

Delta Force exists to provide time, relationships, and accountability that will transform the lives of men.  We meet together to be the husbands, fathers, and men God has called us to be.  The men that come are committed to prayer, Bible study, transparency, and spiritual growth. Watch the calendar for information on the annual men’s retreat.

Women of Joy

More and more is expected of women these days.  They are expected to be super moms, selfless wives, homemakers, and more.  Women need time to stop the insanity and be reminded of the truth of God’s love and acceptance.  Women of Joy provides a special time of friendship, refreshment, and Bible study every month.Watch the calendar for information on the annual women’s retreat.

Blizzard Snow Camp

Blizzard is our annual snow camp for children, 2nd-6th grade.  It happens at Double K Christian Retreat Center in Easton, Washington.  During Blizzard children will make new friendships with other kids in their room. Each room will be a team that will spend time discussing God-matters in a kid-sized way, preparing a group skit for the talent show, playing in the snow, and living together!

Children will participate in four special worship and Bible teaching times. Gifted actors and teachers will present the teaching skit and facilitate team discussions. In these children will learn how their relationship with God affects their relationship with their parents and friends.  Afternoons at Blizzard are a snow adventure!  Children choose from rides on snowmobiles, snowball tournaments, the tubing hill, or simply warming up in the lodge with hot cocoa, friends, and a game.

Family Camp

Every summer we spend an extended weekend camping together with the purpose of growing in friendships, allowing our children to play in a safe environment, and encountering God in the beauty of Eastern Washington.  The schedule is flexible and camp is fun!  It is perfect for parents looking for a fun, safe, and inexpensive family vacation.  Cooks prepare all the meals, afternoons are spent on the lake, evenings are filled with worship and fellowship, and the cost fits any family’s budget!
